Hydraulic pump hub replacement

Hoppy gnu ear, y'all.

New problem with my 52 8N, I need advice.
The hydraulic pump hub on the front pulley has stripped out. It appears that the rubber inserts slip over pins on an adapter on the pulley. I believe I have found the replacement part on this site, will order soon. My questions; How much disassembly is required to change this? Hood? Radiator? Front Axle? Does the hub indeed just slip onto pins, or????

Thank you

The hub with pins should thread on to the shaft, if it unscrews it will be easy to change, the rubber bushings are available too.

Front end has to come off. I would suggest ditching that setup for the splined one.

TOH, hub had splines, pretty smooth inside now. It looks to me
like I would need to remove the hood and upper rad hose, then
remove six bolts in axle bracket, can I then jack up the engine
enough to clear the bracket, but leave steering and radius rods
connected?

More snow coming. Going to miss the fuel mounted snow blade.

I've done it numerous times:
  • [*:f092a0cdc5]Remove hood and support engine with jack[*:f092a0cdc5]Unbolt outer axle extensions from cemter and lay everything to side as a unit[*:f092a0cdc5]Disconnect radius rods from center axle[*:f092a0cdc5]Unbolt and remove axle support and axle as a unit[/list:eek::f092a0cdc5]Dealing with the loader will be the real aggravation.
