Any of you Michigan guys have extra pie weight segments?

I have a complete set and was using a couple of segments as
rear weight on my little snowblowing garden tractor.
Now that I put the whole set to use, I would like to find a few spare
pieces of the pie. I don't really want to buy another complete set.

Just cement/pour your own weight box, the size you need to mount across the back of mini-me!!

You ain't got anything better to do!!!!!!

I poured my own on the front of that Deutz-Allis I had.
Complete with lifting hooks to mount/dismount.
It takes a lot of room to get enough weight out of cement.
Mini-Me just doesn't have enough room to get it done.
And yes, that's an ammo can on the roll bar. Great tool boxes!

Then....how about two pours .......one cement, a layer of scrap iron, & one cement layer over that!!???
Still not enough????[/i:8ff507f943][/b:8ff507f943]

I have a better solution. You just bring Hermie and plow the
snow for me, then I won't have to worry about it at all!

If I could get the local tire store to give me all those used
tire weights, that might do it too. I could probably get enough
weight in a small area that way. Two pie segments fit in there.
Roughly 90 pounds. Believe it or not they made a HUGE
difference on the back of a garden tractor with ice chains.

LOTS of weight with those little buggers!!!!

Think I'll go to bed. Still lots of snow to deal with around here, and I'm getting tired!!!
See ya!!!

Hey Buddy_
I have a complete set of the 45 lb. pie weights but never used them. Don't want to separate anything though. Try Tractor Dave, as that's who sold me the set, lives in Clarkston, MI and posts ads here often with tractors and stuff...I think he had some rogue weights...

FYI: I was going to put the weights on my 8N then I read in the 600/800 Op Manual that you were not to use the HD (45 lb.) weights on a 600. N's were not made to withstand all that extra weight so I never used them. That being said, I knew a fella who had a set on his 2N and never had a problem...

shame you don't live near me. there is an old ford dealership that has pie weights laying on the floor of a pole barn. I tried to buy some but the guys that run the place were not interested in separating/moving them.

I used a few feet of old RR rail. Its like 110lbs / foot. Lighter rail but it worked for what I needed it to do.

Thanks Tim, I know Dave.
I bought a tractor from him a while back.
A bit of a drive but it won't hurt to check with him.
