9N Starting Problem

Hi Everybody,

I'm having an issue starting my 9N. I replaced the plugs, fuel bowl, screen, and gasket. Gas runs out of the carb when I pull the plug. If I pull the plugs and put a little gas in, the tractor starts and runs like a champ. It then will start back up within a short amount of time, but if I wait a few hours, it won't start unless I repeat the process. Any ideas would be great. It is a 6 volt system. Thanks.

(quoted from post at 18:10:03 12/17/16) Sounds like your choke is disconnected. Disconnect air hose intake and make sure the choke is closing.

I'll check that out. It's supposed to be -20 tomorrow morning, so it might be a couple days. I'll post back an update later.

umm........6-volt (+) or (-) ground hazz nuttin' to do with yer problem as described. Sounds like the breather hole in the dome of yer gastank is clogged by mud-daubbers. Just un-capple yer gastank to un-vacuum lock yer tank. They sell a "breathing" gascap fer NAA's and 600's. Much eazier than removing the hood so you kenn remove the tank to un-clog the breathing hole. Simple, eh? ..........the amazed Dell
