8n 3pt lift keeps going up

Was using the lift today and it will go up and keep going up no matter what position the lever is in. Any ideas?

hat is Position. Try it in draft and if still same pull top link connection (at big spring) firmly to rear and see if that changes anything.

pulled the side cover off and pushed the control arm back and the lift went down. started the tractor up and the lift is working again. may have something to do with having the three point arms chained down to use the loader

Yup, probably a little sticky from being in one position for too long. Had to do that one my '41 a few times. Now it's fine. Could also have gotten some particles in there. Might also be good to change the
fluid if dirty.
