Ignition amp draw on a 2N

Thinking about using a Lawn & Garden tractor size 12v battery for the starter alone and one of those small 12AH 6v sealed gel batteries for the ignition alone. I like the way a 12v spins the engine over so much faster than a 6v. A lawn and garden size does a fine job. Just wondering how long a fully charged 6v as described would run the engine. I imagine connecting the generator cutout to a battery that small would likely burn it up pretty quick. Have no problem with trickle charging batteries when tractor is not in use. I only run the tractor for a few minutes at a time anyway. It's just for occasional firewood hauling.

hours more or less

Thanks for the reply. So the average ignition draw is about 2 amps then. Wouldn't have to charge it very often to get me thru the whole winter then. Going to give it a try and see how it works out.
