Just finished installing a new wiring harness and working through a dead short. Required a new voltage regulator due to my screw up. Been in my family for around 40+ years

I have a 51 bought by my father in 1974.

My cousin has a 50 bought new by his father in 1950

How many here own the tractor their father or grandfather bought new or almost new AND how many years in the family.
My 1951 8N, with Sherman Combo, was purchased used by my father in 1953. I have been driving it since that date. I started just by cultivating. 63 years and still using for fun and shows.

"Tried to upload picture but seem to be struggling tonight"

It might not be you, I've seen other's say they're having trouble.
Modern view is apparently still working so if you want to use
that or email them to me I'll post them for you.

I have my grandpa's 1950 N he bought new. The N is retired now living a life of luxury in my garage after many years of faithful service. She's the vehicle that taught me to drive when I was 11 way back in 1968. She's all restored now and I show her off by driving her around my neighborhood. Cant't ever see letting her go.

Working on a refresh of a 1951 8N that was bought new by my dad Jan 17th, 1951. Have the original Ford Registration form. I have used it for many decades and learned to drive it in 1959. All engine parts back from the machine shop and half way put back together. Hydraulics complete and new rear brakes and seals.

My early('48)8N came to my Grandad in the early 50's & he used it for 25+ years. Dad used it for a few years after Grandad passed in '79, until he bought a bigger diesel tractor & parked the 8N. There it sat until 2002 when I started restoring it after Dad passed.

It is practically I family member.

I bought my 1951 8N in 1964 for $375.00 and got three pieces of equipment with it. It has been gone through twice, the last time in 1977. The tires on it were new in 1977. It has always had a bed inside. I used it today to level a spot for a carport.

The first picture is my son in 1966 "driving" it. The second picture was taken this fall. My family threatens to bury it with me.
