Royse, what do you use to repair the little index pin for the choke shaft. Maybe drill it out and epoxy a steel pin ?

Thanks , Dave

On the N carbs I usually drill them out in a drill press and use a roll pin.
Epoxy may work but it may be tough to get out later.

Is that a TSX-157 off a Farmall? If so, here's another option.
Helps keep the choke from vibrating on while running too.

I didn't have any trouble with my Allis C doing it, but for
some reason the Farmalls want to vibrate the choke to the
"on" position and flood. I sold the Allis so I can't go check
but the difference may be in the way the rods are hooked up.
I didn't pay enough attention or I would have noticed that
the thumb lever was backwards on mine compared to yours.

Tsx 154 . Strange things going on. It appears the carb to manifold gasket is soaked with a gas / soot mix.. Head just been rebuilt.. so I re set the float and fixed that pin. I put a kit in it a week ago. You know how it is.
