I am new at running a brush hog type mower. My question is, the mower I bought only has a shear pin, I was thinking about adding a slip clutch to protect the mower and tractor if I hit something solid. If I add a slip clutch do I still need a ORC, or can the slip clutch also handle the ORC function? Thanks, Keith

The slip clutch is a great item for bush-hogging; it will save you a lot of time and shear pins. But it will not replace the over-running clutch. It is not designed for that..., you need both.
