What is this gauge for?

This gauge was in the tool box on my 9n when I bought it. The
gauge is about the diameter of a half dollar. Had a price tag of
$2.49. The tag has now fell off. The gauge is marked 0-500 PSI.

Any idea what this gauge would have been used for on a 9n?

Looks like a Low Pressure Oxygen Cylinder gauge... Lots and lots were used in WWII aircraft... B-17s and others.... Tractor tool boxes accrue all manner of things.

Duey,

You will be more rite than me, however, WE used to call 'em: BMEP gauges.

BRAKE MEAN EFFECTIVE PRESSURE.
