I am trying to replace the right hydraulic lift arm on my 1940 9N Ford Tractor. (The aftermarket literature states that all the N series lift arms are the same.) I have ordered part 9N543B from two different companies: Reliable Aftermarket Parts and Complete Tractor. Neither part fits the rockshaft. On my three Ford N series tractors, all lift arms are interchangeable but the new parts don't work, even though the inside diameter of the new part is 1.80. There are 36 splines without counting the master spline, the same as the original part. Both of the after market part companies use Atlantic Quality Parts with a part number of 1101-1053 for the hydraulic lift arm. Have any one of you had a similar experience? Thanks.
