Paint and hardner

I'm having my 8N repainted and I ordered TISCO Paint from Yesterdays Tractor. I get the paint today, TP240 Medium Gray LF and TP2822 Red. My painting guy said the instructions for adding hardner is normally on the can except it isn't. Now I understand I have to possibly order TP12 Hardner in addition plus he wants to know the thinning procedure. I called TISCO to ask about it and the lady said do this and do that but don't really know how much. da da da da da... Where can I get a technical data sheet for painting. I'm almost to the point to tell the local painter to go locally to PPG, Valspar, K-Mart, anyplace to get this handled. It is really frustrating to think you do things right to find out some of the manufacturers don't have their eggs in a row.
WhAt think you?

Frustrated in North Dakota

Its on the can of hardner. 1/2 to 1 pint per gal. It says to allow for sweat in time (mix the hardner to unredused paint) allow 15 min sweat in time then add reducer to desired consistency as per paint instructions.

HA HA. I was born in St. Paul a couple years ago.... wink.... wink.... but moved to ND cause I got tired of the nnalert and high taxes, however we still own property in Park Rapids that's for sale. Interested?

I got a contact paint company from Tisco and they said the Tisco paint is manufactured in Omaha by Van Sickle so I called them and they got me all the information my painter wanted about hardener and thinning the
paint etc., Van Sickle confirmed what I thought about mixing different paint manufactured by company 1 and a hardener manufactured by company 2 and if not chemically compatible could be ruin the paint. He told me
I could use the Tisco paint and can obtain the hardener from Mills Fleet Farm that is manufactured by Van Sickle for Mills, but under a different label. Sure glad I called Van.
