That is pretty neat.

Several years a go. There was an article in Antique Power magazine about a two row mounted picker a small welding shop made for
the 8n's.
 
If they did the N tractor surely had the Sherman, etc, lower speed transmission to slow them way down. We picked corn with an Oliver mounted 2 row picker on a SH with 350 guts and in heavy corn in mud it was a load. gm
 
if it only howls in high range, methinks it's the hi gear in the sherman.. may be pitted and howling.. etc. the bearings would howl all the time..

Motor is turning too fast in low range to be able to hear it.
