9n stalling

Can anyone help my 9n stalls after running 2 hr , after one
hr will start and run another 2 hr. I have changed fuel, new
carb, gas line, fuel valve, plugs, wires , and converted to
12 volt system. When it stalls fuel is very hot, do I need to
install a heat sheild . Thanks Jerry
 

welcome to TF, jerry :)

do u still have a 6 volt coil, or do u have a 12 volt? if the coil is still a 6 volt coil, do u have the additional ballast resistor in use? your symptoms could be from your coil overheating.

as for the fuel - ah, what can i say? when i first got my N, i was concerned by how hot it seemed to run. i've since come to understand that it's normal for an N, and i'm told they can actually boil the gas in the tank.

i dunno if that will make u feel better or worse about it ;)
 
You would save yourself a lot of time, money and frustration if you would troubleshoot the problem instead of throwing parts at it.

As soon as it stops running, you need to check for spark then fuel. See tip # 13 for the steps to follow.

Post back with what you find and you will get plenty of advice on how to fix it.
