new gas tank?

About 3 years ago I had the gas tank on a Super A clean and coated at a local metal finishing company for about $200. The tank on my 49 8N is full of rust. I see a new tank on Amazon from Tisco for $123.95 and free shipping. Any opinions? New tank or rework old one.

Last year I picked up a new one for my 2N.
Price was less than repair.
I have a mutt so why worry about tank.

Some tanks are hard to come by and should be fixed.
N tanks are cheap. If you don't have one of the "rare" ones
I would replace it and move on knowing I had good clean fuel.
Not to mention no leaks from 65+ years of rust.

I put a new tank in a 641 early this summer. I had no problems with the tank. I bought it off ebay. It was $169.00 with free
shipping. The seller raised the price the day after I bought it.
