I use my 1952 8N for the majority of my lawn mowing. When I make sharp turns, due to obstacles etc., the outer front wheel sometimes severely cuts the turf. I understand that the 3 rib tires are a big part of the problem, but I have noticed that the outer wheel, whether turning right or left, sits at a much sharper angle than the inner wheel.
Am I wrong in thinking that the wheels should be roughly parallel to each other throughout the turning range? Is there something I can do to correct this situation, or is it just a characteristic of this tractor?
