3-point lift link

On my 49 8N the 3-point lift link, 9N564B, pin holes are wallowed out pretty bad. I ordered one from ebay. The one I got is 4 inches longer than the old one. The old one measures 20 inches from the center of the pin holes. Can anyone verify the proper measurements before I contact the seller? Also the one I got is much "beefier".

The replacement top links come in two different lengths. Both will
work with an 8n.But the longer link will not work with all
implements.

I used to have a neighbor that made most of his own 3pt implements
from pull type machines. Most of his creations needed the longer
top link.He had both the short and long links.

9N564B is the link that runs from the hydraulic lift arm to the lower lift arm. The right side is adjustable.

I just checked eBay. I found 34 links listed. I looked at 10. All ten had the measurements listed in the description. If the seller has the measurements on his listing. I doubt he will do anything about it.

i think I'd slip in some copper tube as a weld form / shield and weld up the wallowed out section, or drill, bush an weld the
bush in.. keep the old meat.. the new ones are recycled toasters... :)

There is a lot of difference in the weight of the Old links compared to the replacements.

When I bought my 9n. I bought a link from CT FARM&COUNTRY. Then I went to an auction and bought a pile of original sway bars including the bent arms for the 4ft one way. I also got an original top link for a hundred series tractor.

The original top link is much solider than the aftermarket.

you are aware that he is NOT talking about a toplink.. right?

he is talking about the solid side lift link that goes between the upper and lower lift arms. one is solid, one is adjustable.
