And unlike the 9n's the tail on the cap is not close so maybe a cooling effect in the forward gears.

Larry, I noticed that you haven't posted anything else in this thread. I hope you didn't get upset because I and a few others kidded you about your radiator cap. After all, that's a pretty simple problem to fix. :mrgreen:

Your pictures are great and I wish my tractor looked that good. My 8N is still painted orange from the previous owner ten years ago. It's my only working tractor so I don't get much time to do much about it's looks, but it runs great.

I just picked up a 1963 Massey Ferguson 202 Workbull industrial tractor with an FEL on it. I plan for it to take over most work duties and give my poor little 8N a rest and get that FEL of off her.

I love to joke aroumd,,,I Usually post up on t talk or ttales,,come on up and join us,,and I will post more down here..I dont take the 8n out much,,not that I dont want to,I just run out of time.Heres a picture of it when we bought it at an auction around 15 or so years ago.Also some of the work my brother did in his shop,and some pictures after it was done.My daughter is 23 now so its been a while ago that these pictures were taken.
