Remove eyelet assembly from lower link arms

Is there anything special about removing the check chain eyelet assembly that pins the leveling box to the lower link arm on an 8n?

I removed the two nuts and tried tapping it out but it didn't budge. I have not applied heat yet, just WD40.

Thanks for the help.

I do mist of my work in a poorly
equipped half of a car garage. When I
had to remove the eyelet assy., I used
about a whole can of wd40, and a torch.
And eh, don't plan on reusing it
either. A new on at the local farm and
home store was only $5.

I think it's about time I break down and get me a set of oxy/acetylene bottles. I have a torch and regulators but haven't gotten bottles yet.

A rosebud would make many of the projects I do MUCH easier.

The torch is extremely value in many situations. I bought one quite a few years back with the small tanks. Replacing the tanks is brutally expensive. I have a buddy who has a shop with welding and runs mine through there and I still think it runs $40.

I bought a torch about 30 years ago with small tanks. When I went to refill the tanks[first oxy],the place said that they didn't have that size tanks to exchange and gave me a larger tank[of course, sold me more gas],and the same happened with the acetylene. After a couple of refills,I now have the large size tanks and all I did was pay for more gas. Of course, then I had to buy a cart to move them around.
