Update on hydraulic pump rebuild

Well it went pretty smooth all the new parts fit just fine. It was a little tricky getting the pump up and in, there is not much wiggle room there but I
found if you tilt the front up with a 3/4" board on the floor jack pad it goes in pretty easy. Long story short when all back together I put the tractor
up on the tractor jack with no loud thumping like it did before and it stayed up without coming down at all for over an hour while I cleaned the shop and
put away tools. I have been putting up with the loud thumping and leak down for several yrs. but I want to take it to a truck and tractor show Sun.and it
would be to embarrassing to keep the tractor running with the thumping noise going on, but if I shut it off it would come down in about 3 or 4 min. So I
bit the bullet and am glad now. BTW the kit came from this sight and it was here in less then a week.

Glad to hear it worked out well!
One of mine is a knocker too but only under heavy load.
At that point I have the front wheels off the ground without
the jack so I haven't worried about it too much. :)
