I bought the rebuild kit from this sight and I also had a new safety relief valve on the shelf. The kit came with a relief valve that is much larger then
the original one as well as the new one I had purchased earlier. The one in the kit has a long hex body with holes in it and the others have a short hex
and a half inch diameter section. My question is what one do you folks prefer? Is the longer hex a newer style? I have the pump rebuilt and ready to go
back in and am just wondering which relief valve I should use. I plan to reinstall the pump tomorrow night. I am including a picture with the three valves the one that came with the kit is installed the others on the right. Thanks for any replies. Don
