A New 8N Ford owner here, I want to get a good set of manuals (parts, service , owner's ) for my 8N tractor not some photo-copied (P.O.S) where's a good place to get them? Also I have what I think is a Dearborn sickle bar mower are there manuals & parts available for them? Thanks Dave F.
 
Google "Manual for Dearborn mower" What you want will be the first or second up. This site will not let me post a link to that site!
 
I just picked up a Massey Ferguson 202 Workbull tractor. I purchased the larger more expensive service manual for it from this site. When it came, I was very disappointed with it.

All of the pictures were pretty much useless. They looked like they had been copied and re copied 50 or more times. All of the shaded areas were mostly completely black. Very bad job copying the pictures.

Right then I ordered the IT manual like I should have. The IT F04 manual I got for my 8N was a much better manual.

By the way the crappy manual was made by Jensales. I also got the Jensales parts manual for the Massey Ferguson. This manual is fine since the parts manual has all hand drawn reference pictures. They couldn't really mess up copying the drawings.
 
If I dig through my manuals, I may have an extra, original, hard copy operators manual.
I also have a PDF version of it. If you want to send me an email I'll send you the PDF copy.
I wouldn't give away the paper copy but I would sell it fairly reasonably.
 
I agree with Greg. Yesterday's tractors has a great book, FO-4. It's been worth its weight in gold. I am restoring my 8N, 1950 model and it has helped a bunch.

I received the IT manual on the Massey Ferguson. It is just as good as the FO4 which is published by IT also.
