It looks like I have to remove the distributor and shaft. Discovered there is no spark to plugs and found the points don't open. Tried moving the cam by rotating fan (and yes the pulley on the crank moves). Turned the engine over and the cam doesn't move at all. I'm assuming that maybe the gear on shaft is spinning due to a broken pin. Just wanting any advice before I undertake this project. If it has to be done, are there any snafus I can expect in getting it out?
