Made In USA ebay starter drives any good?

I need a new starter drive for my 8n, and just noticed that JN Electrical on eBay has one they claim is made in USA. Anyone tried one?

I messed the last post up, its theelectricalemporium that has it, for $25 shipped (which i just about the cheapest I've seen).

I am old and remember a lot of old stuff. The campaign slogan 'Why change 'Dicks' in the middle of a screw, re-elect Nixon in '72' comes to mind. This site, "external_link," "Just (eight) n's" and many others sell starter drives. Unlike E-Bay, the people selling here (and on other forums) have an audience to answer to. In short - their existence is based on customer satisfaction. I have yet to hear of an unresolved issue on any of the old Ford tractor sites. ( E-Bay could claim " Another one bites the dust' ) as a theme song. Do yourself a favor and buy from someone you know.

Made in America. What more do you need to know

I needed one to get my 2n working again quick, so bought a made in USA one of Ebay for $25. Came locked in the extended position and could not for the life of me get it retracted. So I ran to TSC and got one for $50, but so far it has worked.

Beware, seller has lots of negative comments about,Sells articles with MADE IN USA labels but lies and handles MADE IN CHINA

"Came locked in the extended position"

Someone probably played with it while packaging.
They'll still go in that way. Albeit a bit tougher to assemble.
The engine will retract it once it starts.

I haven't bought one of them from eBay, so can't comment on quality.

My 2013 car hauler/small tractor hauler is made in America.
Axles and all supposedly. Can't vouch for the bearings.
It has never been overloaded.

The first axle was replaced under warranty at 3 months old.
Bearings went out and destroyed the axle hauling it empty.

Second set of bearings went out on the replacement axle the last
time I used it. When I get it fixed this time it will get traded in.

Does Mitsubishi make a trailer? Kubota maybe?
