Hi All,
My Grandad and his two brothers used to own adjoining farms here in Missouri. My Grandad sold his place and moved to the city in 1961.
Recently, I inherited my great-uncle's 1949 8N and am in the process of restoring it. When done, I hope to begin restoring my other great-uncles 1953 Jubilee. They were both used everyday for over 40 years
and have sat in a field for the last 20. Needless to say, I'm very excited to have them fully restored sitting side-by-side. My Grandad also owned an 8N and that leads me to my question.
Would there be any way to track down the sales records and determine the serial number of the exact tractor he bought? I'm entertaining the idea of going on one of those life-long hunts for it.
Any advice you all can provide as to how to identify his exact tractor would be greatly appreciated!
