OT: Kubota??

I've had a Kubota L3410 for 17 years. Bought it new. Has power steering, front loader, hydrostatic trans and 4WD. Absolutely love it. All I
have done in those 17 years is change the fluids and filters and one battery replacement.

I've no first hand experience with either of the mentioned models but did buy a Kubota B1750HST new in 1994.

In the 22+ years that I've owned it, it has needed absolutely nothing aside from routine fluid and filter changes. NOTHING. Not so much as a fuse, lamp or fan belt.

After bad experiences with two new Massey Fergusons, I threw in the MF towel and bought two more new Kubotas last winter.

I will buy nothing from Kubotas in the future.

(quoted from post at 22:01:09 08/02/16) Any pros or cons on a Kubota models B3350 and L2501?

Trouttman

In general they are excellent utility/compact utility tractors - strongly built with lots of very nice features and give decades of virtually trouble free service. Kubota diesel engines are first in class. The B3350 series is a slightly smaller tractor - 2400 pounds un-ballasted on 16" rubber. The L2501 is 2600# on 24" rubber. In my opinion the only "con" is they cost more than an N series. Of course you are getting a whole lot more tractor for the extra cash ;-)

I've owed a Kubota L3400 since 2008 and its dependable with no issues. However, the tranny is non-syncronized manual and noisey with straight cut rear end gears. Always been like this so I assume it normal. Wish it had a bettery transmission.

I had many old Fords over the years, but I bought a 39 HP Kubota and it is as Dean said LOve it. I still like the old Fords, but I sold ALL of mine.

The B3350 has a diesel particulate filter requiring it to do regens to burn them out where as the L2501 doesn't require the DPF due to being under 30 hp.

I still have 5 vintage fords but all are now hobby tractors.

I use my three Kubotas for all of my mowing work.

You will never go back.

I have an L2501 with FEL/Shuttle shift. It runs great and does just about everything I ask it too. It will lose traction (with loaded rear tires) way before it runs out of power. It has just turned over 110 hours since I bought it new a year go last April.
