Oil Pump Gear Width not correct for year ?

I have started a complete rebuild of a 1950/51 8N purchased new by my dad in 1951 S/N 336748

Have the engine pulled and completely disassembled. Fairly easy except the intake valve guides were a PITA to remove.

Now here is the problem. According to YT catalog I should have the 3/4 oil pump gear width. Instead it measures 9/16.

This engine has never been apart and I am the only one to ever work on it or service it since about 1962. (my dad was not mechanically inclined and I started very young).

Any ideas on what is up with this and what else might be different than it should be for the year and s/n before I start ordering rebuild parts.

OK, I may have answered my own question but appreciate any comments to confirm. The 9/16 measurement I measured is for the external drive gear. I guess the 9/16 vs 3/4 gear width actually refers to the INTERNAL pump gears which makes more sense.
