I'm not a smart man Genny....

but is this the correct genny for my one wire genny on my 46 2N? I don't think so. I'll be sending it back and hoping they have the right one.

Paper is not legible, and the pic only shows up as the back on my 2" screen.

however.. the 1 wire job will have the charge control knob for the 3rd brush.

i don't see a charge control third brush...
 
If you still have your old one find someone to rebuild it. That's what I did with my starter two years ago. The cost will be about the same and you'll have the original generator back on your tractor.
 
That is an aftermarket unit, and as the others have suggested, I too, would get the original rebuilt. If you need a good shop, my buddy has one near me, also is afford Tractor guy, has rebuilt many for me, and can have it done for you...my email is open...

2ruNgineer ,It should look like this one, Generator, 6 Volt Part Number 8N10000.Must have made a mistake and shipped the wrong Genny...
Can't quite read the # on the invoice.
