The inside arm on my governor is really sloppy loose. It seems to function fine but I have it off for other issues. I see and understand the rebuild process but see no talk about a bushing or fix for this.

It can be shimmed.

Seems the slop is in ID of the shaft which suggest a bushing replacement would be needed. Not sure how I would shim it. I see the pic mentioned in the IT manual but not sure I understand.

cut a strip of beer can & wrap it inside hole in arm. second if needed.
