Built a carryall

Looks good! They are very handy, you'll find new uses for it
everyday for quite a while. At least I did.
Just don't overload it or your tractor will get light in the front end.

I purchased a County Line carry all just like yours from TSC.

When I got it home and hooked it up, I decided it didn't lift high enough to suit me. So I drilled two new lift arm pin holes about six inches lower than the ones that were in it. Now it lifts high enough for me.

BUT, I see that your carry all has two sets of holes in it for lift pins. Did yours come like that? Judging by your picture, mine had the two top holes that you are not using. I drilled two new bottom holes right about where you have yours hooked up.

Did they screw up and only drill one set of pin holes in mine? I'll have to look at them the next time I go to TSC.

Yes, mine came with 4 holes.

Well, those $#$%^& !! I'm going to go back in there and tell them they owe me two holes. Trouble is that I went out and purchased a large two handed slow speed drill motor to drill those two 7/8" holes.

I doubt I'll use it again but I didn't want to fight with a regular size drill motor trying to drill those holes. By the way when I did drill those holes I was glad that I did buy the larger drill motor.

By the way, I forgot to tell you, nice job on your carryall. I'm going to do mine the same way.

Which holes were the lift pins in when you purchased yours?

Where they are now.

Yeah, that figures.

(quoted from post at 02:37:14 07/26/16) Looks real good, but I would use stabilizer bars with it if it were mine.
I probably will. I think it's going to see more use, than I originally thought

I built one years ago, probably attached to my tractor more than anything else I have.
mine does not look as nice as yours, it has been well used over the years.

I also built a set of tow motor forks that are useful for picking stuff up off the ground
and a dump scoop
all have there purpose and useful when needed

I'm sure you will find many uses for it. I just unbolt the back boards when I need to run the corn grinder to make scratch for the chickens
or what to take it to a show.

Here's a photo of my wife planting taters with it. It's a useful implement for not a lot of money. I bought some brackets to make
detachable sides for firewood but never got around to making them up. I do carry some long limbs to the wood shed that hang over the sides.
Also though about adding a couple of hook bracket to make it easier to hook straps to secure stuff on

I would tie up the loose chains so that they don't catch the grease fitting on the ORC. I use plastic ties to tie mine up.

Even easier is to use a couple lynch pins to pin the loose end of the chain back to the chain itself. They go on and off easier.

a 7/16" lynch pin can also be used to make a fine adjustment in those limiter chains. Just push two links close together and place the pin in both links.

Rodeo,

Looks good.

Mine is similar and I intend to put two flat L irons on the leading edges of the front corners so the sides will be less prone to bending outward than they will with the normal L brackets you have used.

This site needs aLIKE button. I like your idea. :D

I wish i had taken a little more time, and made mine removable.

I've already used to it go fill up deer feeders. miles ahead, of using my 4 wheeler. Carry lots more, and it will fit the same places my ATv goes. Gives you a little rise to pour it in as well.
