Head Bolt Leaking 1948 8N

I have one of the head bolts on my 1948 8N that are in the center of the head (holds the bracket to the carburetor) that I removed in my restoration process. I reinstalled the bolt. It is now leaking cooling fluid. I tried putting some "Aviation Form A Gasket" on the threads and it did not stop the leak. I have put a extraction hose into the hole and pulled out all of the cooling fluid and now I want to try another product.

Someone at Napa Auto suggested Medium Thread Locker "blue" from Permatex. Before I use this I wanted to get any other suggestions on how to stop the fluid from coming up through the threads. Any thoughts?

KC, You don't want to use Thread locker! You need to use Permatex High Temperature Thread Sealant to seal the threads around the head bolts.Drain the block and spray some brake cleaner with the straw down the bolt hole to clean antifreeze from the threads.Coat the threads well with sealer on the bolt, install and torque to specs.
