What is the easiest way to check the compression on a tea 20, 9N. Is there a special fitting or ??

Yes, you can get a 90 degree elbow for the job. I can't post a picture cause I am at the office, but if you peruse the archives you can find

You should not need anything special that does not come in a standard compression tester kit. You should not need anything special for a N if you have a good tester that has a flexible hose.
