NOS parts - Lots of Pictures

A fellow forum member was kind enough to sell me this stash
of NOS parts. There are some Dennis Carpenter parts mixed
in as well as a few used ones. I spent a couple hours today
inventorying and organizing them. Thought some of you would
enjoy seeing them in the original boxes, etc.

Anyone know what the parts in the last two pictures are?

Thanks Shaun, I matched that shaft up to one I have
here in the shop. Mine still has the rockers et al. on it
but it looks like a good call to me!

The flat plate with the countersunk holes is part number
9N-10597 used to mount a cutout in place of the original
voltage regulator on the early 9N tractors.

Royce,Great find,Filter screens,possibly for a 3 point hitch sprayer.3 sprayer nozzles?,pinion bearing shims,rocker arm shaft for a 134 /172,Brackets,sickle mower or mounted implement?

I appreciate the offer Clifford B. but I wouldn't
want to put you through all that trouble. ;)

Wow! Quite a cache.

The angle brackets in the second from last picture look to be the hard to find sway brackets for the 7/9** series tractors. They would make nice patterns for an enterprising fabricator to run off a few sets.

I'm still trying to figure out if NOS means Nitrous Oxide or "not otherwise specified". (?) :)

A guy would also need the drawbar bracket they hook onto.
When I got this one I didn't know what it was.
I had only seen the sway bars that mount under the fenders.
My 960 doesn't have this style drawbar bracket. Instead it
has long drop fender brackets to line up with the lift arm pins.

Second picture from the bottom, three, look like fittings. You older Ford fellers living in the northern half of the good old USA should know what they are, or look like they are. lol They are, or look like spark plug adaptors. We used to put them in 8Ns especially, for cold weather starting. Put the adaptors in the plug hole and then the spark plug. That put the spark plug out of the direct line of raw gas in the winter for easier starting. It seamed to help.
I'm thinking every row crop tractor had the bracket under the center housing to except the row crop stablizers. The stabilizer kit came with the 4 short pins and 4 linch pins, dealer installed.

Nice stuff Royse.
I alllmost made a similar buy about 8 or 10
years ago. The price was a little higher
than I wanted to go but i could have swung
it. What finally decided it for me was the
fact I had moved on to newer Fords and
really didn't have a need or use for the
stuff.
It was an all or none deal and there was a
lot of it - maybe half a pickup full.
It would be nice to have a display case -
glass faced - either wall or floor model.
Put the items in there just to look at.
I still have some photos on photobucket.
Thought there were more but I guess not.
There was a lot of stuff like you have too -
bearings, rings, etc in Ford packaging.
Here are the photos of some of it

Some of these parts are for N's. Many for 134/172's.
I have all three, including an 8N I want to freshen up.

I'm hoping I can use some of the bearings, connecting rods, etc
when I do that rebuild if I need them. Of course, I haven't taken
it apart yet so I don't know what I will need as far as sizing goes.

It was a bit of a gamble for me as to whether or not I can use
them but they were priced reasonably and I made new friends
in the process. Couldn't ask for more than that. :)

We used to use those spark plug anti-foulers/adapters in
engines that burned oil Wayne. They helped a lot actually.
These do look a lot like them but they aren't big enough for that.
There is a Cool-Whip bowl full of them, probably 30-40 with
brass gaskets. All brand new from the looks.
I'm thinking maybe they were associated with the sprayer parts.
They don't look like nozzles though, as they are straight through.
Maybe adapters to fit the nozzles on?

The drawbar bracket on my 960 may have been replaced at some
point, I don't know. It doesn't have the ears for the pins now.
Looks more like the generic one for an 8N, etc. It would be easy
enough to fab and weld the tabs on as long as I got them aligned properly.

The 2 red bent bars are moldboard braces, the part# should 6 digit# starting out 103? The round shaft looks like for a overhead valve rocker
arm.
