One of the things I need to address on my 1940 9N is the work light mounted on the right fender. I have a taillight on the left fender. First of all, did the 1940 come from the factory with a work light or was it even a dealer available option? If this is something that was not available from either, I'll probably remove it. Otherwise, I want to replace it as all that is there is the housing on a fender mount bracket and it has been smacked out of round. My question is, if that light would be appropriate on a 1940, what version do I want? Dimpled glass, frosted rings or sealed beam? I will be converting this tractor back to 6V so we're talking 6V for the work light.
