Hydraulic lift valve 2N

Offy

New User
The saddle/wishbone has come off the t connection that operates the valve to lift and lower the lifting arms. Does anybody have a trick method to get it back into place? My hands are too big and not nimble enough to get it done. I did it once before but that was several years ago. Thanks

No trick that I know of. I remove both side covers and straddle the tractor and put one hand in each opening.

Offy,Cut a scrap piece of wood cut it to 0.375" x 0.75" x 3.75"long and wedge it between the two linkage arms with
one hand to spread the fork apart.Once in place, I put the valve links at the pockets on each leg of the linkage and
carefully pull the wedge out.

Thanks, that was one plan that I thought of but measuring the correct width was a problem. You information is a great help! By the way I read it the same both ways that you wrote it. Thanks again. John

Offy,Get you a long 3/8"-1/2" zip tie to put around the fork and trim end off to keep it from coming off the T next time.

I just stopped while bushogging to check my phone. The tie wrap sounds like a good idea to strengthen the resistance to dislodging while still allowing seperation on a severe jolt. Thanks for your time, effort and good ideas!👍🏻
