I agree with the other comments.
You need to hook up your trailer and burn some rubber.
You could make your money back selling the loader if you wanted and have a Free tractor.

Tall T,There is a war horse 2N up that way that looks great that is a good deal. Also a 8N , with a Sherman combo ,mower.A lot of deals up there.

lol and wtf - more rare?. someone please correct me if i'm wrong, but weren't there more than twice as many 2Ns built than 9Ns?

200,000+ units built and sold doesn't strike me as rare - or am i reading the serial number info wrong?

Well . . . I really wish it wasn't wise to say no to myself but I have so many projects in the works already and limited good weather time. Also, as others have pointed out, the N's are a little too small for me and my big feet, so getting it would be limited to investing in it for resale.

But I've got that typical motor function malady; once I get it home I like it too much to part with it, so the parting-out or reselling objective falls by the wayside. :)

And as far as the loader goes, my need is next to non existent at the moment and my wide dirt bucket has been doing a great job of moving dirt around.

Thanks!
T

Den,

Hadn't noticed the Sherman. I check that Buy and Sell of my nearby area almost daily.

Very rare finding any tractor deals post-Jubilee though. :)

Definitely a nice step thru loader as Kirk pointed out, not totally blocking engine access . . . and remote hydraulics.

What other tractors would it bolt up to or is it a hunt finding mount brackets?

Thanks,
T

(quoted from post at 18:37:01 06/19/16) I see it is marked sold.
Deals like that don't last long!

I saw that a little earlier!

When I first saw the ad I didn't scroll down to see if it was sold, but it probably sold within hours of appearing and was probably already sold then.

A mixed blessing . . . now it won't be haunting me like it has been all day.

Hard to guess the story behind the give-a-way price but I noticed that the email was: Ella's Mom". Maybe an ex hubby would have put a lean on it if he knew.

Glad it wasn't a hundred series so i'll be able to sleep tonight. :D
