late 8N rear end on Ebay

I have a late 1952 8N rear end for sale on Ebay. No bites so far. It has non leaking axles with dry brakes. also, PTO shaft, lift cover, upper arms, nice brake pedals showing almost no wear. I bought it with the intention of switching it with the one on my 48 8N. But, I had already bought all new parts including the axle ends, seals, etc. I also did not change it myself as I decided it was to big of a job at my age and after a recent surgery. I still think this is a good way to go because of the better double or extra seal in the trumpet ends. Pass the word if you know someone that could use it. It's too good of a piece to go to the smelters, but I need the room. Bill in SW MI. I may make it to the Ionia show.

I might just come up there and pick that thing up my self. Have to take it apart some what. Would you be able to me me with it some where I could park and 18 wheeler?

It is setting just inside a garage door. It's pretty heavy. I can lift it with a engine hoist or with a ford 640 and rear lift. Problem with moving it very far is that the weight tends to lift the front wheels off the ground. I was hoping someone would back up to the garage door and load it. The ground is a little hilly here and it would be possible to enter one drive and exit the other without backing up a big rig.

Looks like you got it sold. Good deal. I didn't really need to full with it. Like you I would hate to see it go to the scrapper.
