Radiator....Flush or new?

Greetings Forum Chums,
I need some input! The water pump in my 1976 Ford 231 self destructed the other day...Removed the pump and will get a remanufactured water pump replacement, as I don't at present have a press. Here's the question, what do I do with my 40-year old radiator? It looks to be in good shape...not scaled up.... doesnt look corroded .... should I take it to a radiator shop and have it flushed and pressure tested or should I not tempt fate and replace the radiator?..
or...Flush it myself??....Thoughts gentlemen?

I would keep the original if possible.
Even if I had to have it re-cored by a shop.
Quality and fit just seems to be better.

That being my first choice, I had to replace three, yes, three,
with aftermarket ones last year. They have all been fine so far.
Will they last 50 years? I'll never know.
They don't "feel" like they will and they're still expensive.

Hey, isn't it my turn to buy a round?
When are you going to be up this way again?

Listen Chum....let me make this clear...I am
Scottish....you're buying a round....I will
make time...lol....think I am gonna have the
radiator flushed...looks good...if it
springs a leak in the future...WTH...I know
how to strip it down now!...You and Joanie
wanna do the Ford Museum??
