Spent the last couple of days working on some food plots...tried my hand at plowing. Used the Dearborn 10-1 two bottom for the first time. Pretty proud of the way the plow worked especially with all the trash in the plots. The old 48 N handled the plow with little effort, didn't even over heat with the 95 degree temp. I was having so much fun I kept looking for more places to turn over...Dan

Sometimes the best therapy is seat time behind an old tractor. Kinda helps get a man focused. I run brand new AgChem/Cat and JD equipment all day, but enjoy my old Ford 850 at home more. Maybe better because it's not work, I don't know, but it sure relaxes the mind.

(quoted from post at 22:52:49 06/14/16) Very nice work Dan. What are you planting in there?

Last time I got to talk to Dan, he was mumbling something about planting 'fire-plugs'.

Royse...was really wet in this part of southern Indiana so just now was able to work this...maybe too late for corn but that is what they like. If I cant get back in the next week to plant corn, I'll most likely go with a brassica mix. Did turnips and rye mix in one plot last year but they didn't seem to care for that. Pic is of this plot last year, only problem, critters ate ALL the ears off by the middle of October. This Jake was helping me with pest control while I plowed...Dan
