Quick hitch hiller/bedder/cultivator

Since I know some of you use your old ford tractors for gardening I though I would post this.
I have a 3pt quick hitch for sale and a guy call me on the phone and said he wanted to build a hiller with it, do I have any suggestions. So
I told him I would think about it and this is what I came up with. I built this mock model using a wooden deck baluster. I would maKe it a 5'
steel bar stock to cultivate behind the wheels. I have an extra 3pt quick hitch so I'll probably make one for myself for a back up and for
use in the woods. Most of the time I'm using my farmall cubs for cultivating. But always nice to have back ups.
If you already have a quick hitch and are into gardening this could be an option for you.

Nice idea Kirk. A little brace to the top link and off to the races.
If I ever get enough material worked into my clay to grow
anything under ground I might use that idea for potatoes.

I don't have a picture of it but I did something similar with a three point receiver hitch. The tool bar has a draw bar welded to it so I can just slide it in and pin it.

A friend of mine built this one out of scrap he had laying around. He back drags it but it does a good job.
