radiator filler neck

Hope this makes sense. This is on an 8n. The radiator filler neck has a " inner neck" that has come loose. It is about 3 inches long a fits inside the larger neck. The cap attaches to it.
Anyway, the problem is with the inner neck coming loose the cap does not close the system so water come out of the radiator. The inner piece ( the 3 inch piece) is also cracked. Sooooo, does anyone have an idea what to do. Can you get a one of these inner pieces? If you can, how would it attach? The radiator is relativley new so i hope I don't have to replace it.

Any and all help, is very much appreciated !!!

This is not an OEM style radiator, and I'm having somewhat of a difficult time picturing the set-up. I think your best bet would be to take it off the tractor and take it to a radiator repair shop. It can likely be repaired.

" The radiator filler neck has a " inner neck" that has come loose."

My 29 Ford radiator had something like that; a PO's sad attempt to stop a leak from the filler neck.

$60 to the radiator shop fixed it.

But no telling what you have if it's a "new" radiator.
