3 point lever

Any ideas on why my raise/lower lever jumps back up almost 1/4 from all the way down? My throttle plate is worn out and it takes one hand to hold it and one hand to keep the 3 point down and my other arm is too short to reach the steering wheel.

8N or 9/2N?? Only two adjustments on the 9/2N. The main spring which is usually frozen to the yoke and the fore and aft
movement on the quadrant. If this is on a 8N, there are internal adjustments and wear parts (cam follower pin) that may need
to be done.

I forgot to add that it is a 52 8n. Do you know if it is something a person can do at home or does it go to the shop?

Ok I just looked it up. Don't sound like a lot of fun but maybe doable at home. Just when I was getting caught up on to do's another one comes along. Thank you for your reply. I was beginning to wonder if anybody was going to.

Can be dome in one day. Order the gasket set and a cam follower pin. Don't use any gasket goop - just the paper gaskets. Zane
Sherman makes a jig which makes adjustment a cinch.
