1952 8n carburator

Sure you can. The early 8N's also ran the TSX-33. Early 52 8N's had TSX-241C on them,it was junk and since it and all previous N tractor crabs were superseded by the TSX-241B, all 33 thru 241,s should be rebuilt to TSX-241B specs for optimum performance for all N's.

So what actually makes the difference between a TSX-241B and a TS241C spec carb when it comes to rebuild times? It seems to me that in real life everyone just throws in a one-size-fits-all kit regardless of what carb # they have, and calls it a day. None of the kits I have seen have different parts for the different models, no different directions or settings for the different models. If I had a 33 or a C, and wanted to rebuild it as a B, how would I do it?

Order a kit for the TSX-241B from a reputable parts supplier and you should be good to go. Or if you choose, check the M/S parts book and order parts individually from a stocking supplier as I do. The C is a real cheap version and I would prefer to change it for one of the others
