[b:418f1587f8][i:418f1587f8] Stopped at a yard sale yesterday, in Missoula, to gander at these three Fords for sale.
The one with the FEL was what I mainly wanted to get a price on!!

OMG!!!!!!!!! Prices are going crazy in this neck of the woods.

NAA was listed.......$5500.
Jube was listed.......$6000.
801 with loader, was listed........$7,450

I was shocked!
All three had hydrolic leaks, and the 801 looked to leak motor oil around the rear of the oil pan.

Talked to a rancher friend of mine, about the prices. He says the prices on used tractors, went way up, right after the New Holland store came to Missoula two yrs ago, and he has gone to another parts house for anything he needs!!!!

Oh well......guess a loader tractor, just ain't gonna happen!!! :twisted:

That's about 20 miles from me. Tried to help that guy last summer to get it unstuck and he just didn't listen.

James;
Ya made a very nice looking machine, out of that 801.
The price on the one I looked at, was quite a bit too much, for my taste.
I was thinking about $4500 to $5000, with the loader.
OH well....????!!

I'm opening up myself to some laughs...but I'm buying this tractor.

I wrote the current owner and offered to come help him get it repaired because I hate to see an N sit and he's just a short drive away but he is absolutely done trying to mess with it. The story goes that a neighbour sold it to him (for [i:77e9b5b13c]way[/i:77e9b5b13c] too much) and it ran okay when he got it. Feel pretty bad for the guy since he bought it to help out immediately on his property and ended up having to hire out. Were it me I'd have had some harsh words to share.

The loader is in good shape overall with no repair welds that I can see though the bucket needs a bit of re-shaping and one good weld bead to get it in top shape. Tires are good to the rear but unfilled, which I thought was odd considering the FEL, and the fronts are one good one bad. Electronics don't look horrible and the engine cranks fine but won't fire. Sheet metal needs some attention but I love breaking out the sand blaster and paint gun.

The best part is the Hupp installed on it, and it's the hi/lo version too! I'll be putting that FEL to work soon and it'll be a boon for the construction we're planning on the property this summer. [/i]
