3-point not working after rebuild

Ok the tractor is a monster it has an 8n engine 9n transmission or vise versa and a cpl 2n parts. I did not know this until after it was broke all the way down. Now its back together and most of the problems I ran into have been sorted out but trying to get this 3-point to work is killing me. It worked before but now it seems as if the lever is binding, it springs up past half way then no resistance the rest of the way up. The pto works and spins there are no leaks that I can find, I've tried bleeding the pump it was good, the arms do not move at all. What would be causing this? and if you have pictures or diagrams that would be helpful

Sorry,
I had replied down below before I saw this one.
Wondering if your linkage is ok looking in through
right side inspection cover.
If good, what all was rebuilt?
Greg

Not unusual to have an N pieced together from several.
If I were a gambling man, and I am, I'd bet most actually are.
The parts swap and they work just fine.

But the "or vise versa" statement throws a monkey wrench
into the gears of getting help. So, what did you rebuild?
Do you have the 8N hydraulics or the 9N/2N hydraulics?

JMOR's pic in the other post clearly shows the 9N/2N type
control arms. That should be a great help if that's what you have.
8N has a single rod with an extra handle for position/draft
mode selection as was mentioned.

Easier to help if we knew for sure. Easier still if we were there!
Can you post some pictures of what you're seeing?

Thx for the help guys I do believe it was just like that pic last time I did it and linkage looked good but i'll drain her and get pics of it later. For the rebuild everything on the tractor was broken down, cleaned, and rebuilt; engine, tranny, hydraulics, hubs, brakes, everything. this 3-point is the last thing to get figured out so I can break everything in and it's driving me crazy.

Ok I feel like an idiot as I figured out the problems. Must not have primed the pump good enough because did it and it works great. Now the spring in the lever was from the touch plate not touching I think, so I put a cpl washers on it, tightened it down and boom the lever feels like new.

Sweet,
Good job.
Greg
BTW I like my 2N because the linkage is so simple, no jigs needed.
Also I have position control kit from Zane.

lease tell us your priming procedure. Thanks

took both side plates back off as well as the top. Unscrewed the bolt that holds the springs in the pump, took out the springs and spring holders, filled springs holes with oil while manually turning the pto, put the bottom spring holders in, then filled holes with oil again while manually spinning pto, put spring and top spring holders in filled it with oil again while manually spinning pto, then put the bolts on and tighten down filled the pump and cavity with oil until it was up to the bottom of the side plates, spun pto by hand and oil came out the top hole. Put the top and side plates on spun pto by hand until 3-point went all the way up twice, then topped it off and good to go
