Hey Guys, I've read a wealth of info from yall but i have an issue. i purchased a 6 to 12 v conversion kit and let it sit for a year or two before installing it. When I did, the coil was cracked. Can someone give me the correct NAPA # for the 12V square front mount coil?? thx

The only NAPA number I have for a front coil is IC670 and that's supposedly for 6v.

You're probably going to need to order one here or from nnalert's.

While it is easier to use a 12 v coil, you can measure the resistance of a 6v coil and add the appropriate resistor in the circuit. (tip # 30)

Thanx Bruce. The numbers that I have are 9N12024-12V and 12VOLTCOIL but they don't cross match to NAPA. There has to be a 12 volt coil number.

That doesn't mean that NAPA carries it. To get a 12 volt square coil from my NAPA here they ordered it from TISCO.
