Any reason not to use one of these?

You want to make sure that you have the lift arms tied down!! I still like the drawbars on my Ford 2600 and TC34DA. They can't go up and down.

yes, the under mount is there but don't have the other pieces. You find that better? I just want to haul a trailer around the property.

thanks to everyone for being so helpful so fast.

light duty will work with some stay bars.. for heavier duty, the addition of the swinging db would be best to prevent it from coming up.

I bought that exact one. It is sturdy and strong. I did have to sand down my hitch inserts to get them to fit into that drawbar though. They were slightly too thick. I have wondered if the company was using
some weird square tubing instead of what is used on the hitch inserts?

I also use another 3pt drawbar that works great with ball hitches. L3ts you raise the drawbar on the trailer to incline or "dump" the trailer. Makes it nice for loading mowers and such.

Lets see if I have pictures...

Apparently haven't taken a picture of the hitch pictured above. Dangit.

I have one like yours. I also have the one pictured and I have the underbelly drawbar on a 601 Ford. The underbelly drawbar is the safest.
The one I have pictured works better than reciever hitch type.

I am old and forget that I can not raise it up and bent them all to heck. I was looking for something easier to use. I change equipment a lot from plowing to bush hog to cultivator to plow and its a lot to do with the stabilizer. I thought the one in the pic would be easier and cheaper.

thanks
