es, looks about same as yours. Drags a lot of dirt without need for tractor to lift it, as long as you don't need to move it too far.

We called it a roll over scraper. It had 3 trip positions. The cutting edge filled the box and then just skidded along to where the dirt was wanted. The second trip position allowed the dirt to be spread if that is what the operator wanted. The third trip position allowed the dirt to be left in a pile.

We have one of them and it is a larger size of the 2 sizes I have seen. The hitch has a spring arrangement so it scrapes and cut the soil and when the load is heavy enough it levels out to drag to location (even over grass) to dump. That hitch in the picture is to high to work, but maybe you use the 3-point for cutting.

My Dad used his to prepare several building sites as well as land scapeing. Way back in the day Dad got a bunch together and dug an in-ground silo trench which was 10-12 feet wide and least 6-7 feet deep and a couple hundred feet long. I think they loosened the ground with passes with a plow to ease in digging the dirt.

We have one of them scoops the real old timers pulled with a horse and you walked behind and tried to move dirt with. Now that would be work and a Tumble Bug is a great improvement over that.
