8n draft spring issue

So my draft spring plate broke and I replaced it. Once I did the lift arms only raise up super high. It's like it pushes the draft rod thing in. If I have the implement raised and unbolt the plate it returns to normal height. Any help would be awesome

ounds as though that you don't have big spring tight enough or maybe bent internal linkage when removing yoke from draft plunger. They are usually well rusted..

I was thinking there might be something bent
but I'm not exactly sure what it's supposed
to look like to begin with
