Last fall I bought an naa basically for the sheet metal and Sherman combo, well my neighbors 13 year old son took an interest in it and we got it running and split it to remove the Sherman and in the process noticed that many places have green paint underneath, I could tell under the red the tractor was green at one time but not unusual to have 4 or 5 different colors on a old Ford. This tho is green as the bottom layer, and shows signs of it in places like in the starter hole and under the edge of parts you wouldn't ordinarily remove to repaint a tractor. It just seems odd and had me wondering if it was possible it was green from original? I'm sure it's possible it was sandblasted bare and painted later but it just seems odd the level of disassembly they would have went to to be paint in all these places. I don't know the history of the tractor, appears it had some attachment like backhoe of forklift etc at one time since the 3pt and upper lift arms all were removed and pipe bushings slid over the splines of the rockshaft.
