Early 3000 gasser with a jerk o matic for the price of an N.
The power steering on it is worth a grand if the transmission ever failed and you had to part it out.
But he says it runs good.
Guys who own those transmissions love them.
Worth checking out if someone's looking to upgrade and wants some cheap horsepower.
Not my ad, etc.

If it were closer , I would buy it , swap the power steering and a few other parts then slap a fair paint job on it and sell it for $3500 .

Ken,
That's exactly how I got it on mine.
Bought a junker that had nearly new tires
and PS. Stole/ switched the parts I wanted
off of it that I wanted and resold it for
what I paid for it. The one I linked to
looks like it has has very nice tin on it.

Jerry;
Quit hoggin' all the good priced stuff!!! Semd some down here.
I'd jump on that one, if it was way closer to me.
Been looking for a ride, that will make a good 'Loader pusher.
Not so lucky in my area!!!

That sounds like the story of how I ended up with a yard full of tractors and parts tractors!

It seems like good deals are everywhere except here in Vermont. Here everything you want is 30 to 50 % more.

ust as well that you are not close.."selling for friend" gives escape for a lot of things! No direct answers to questions. No need to have talent of lie with straight face, and on and on.

I have listed several items on CL for a good friend, 65 years old who refuses to learn how to use a computer. I post his phone number and if I receive a question via email I tell them "hey it's listed for a friend here is his number". So you are correct, I have no need to lie. I don't show it nor do I collect any money/accept payment. Buyers still get to talk to the owner. I do the same thing for my MIL who is in her 80's.

I list a lot of stuff for Kenny and usually
do about the same - put his phone # for the
contact. I have sold several things for him
too. If it's parked in my yard he will tell
them to call me to come and look at it.
I usually know the good, bad and ugly of
what he has and don't need to lie about
anything. No need to lie anyway.
Of course I usually try to gouge him out of
about a 25% sellers fee for doing it but he
never pays.
A couple of years ago he had his 960 here
and I knew he was coming over. So I quick
made up this sign and parked the tractor by
the street. He about lost his toupee when he
drove in.
